Sales Manager

Description

The Sales Manager will play a critical role in Prodco’s Sales organization. You will be an ambassador for the company by being the first point of contact with potential customers. In this role, you will be responsible for generating opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting and qualifying inbound leads from across our top industry verticals. You will collaborate closely with our Account Management team to ensure the right prospects enter our sales pipeline. This is an ideal role for an energetic, motivated and organized team player looking to accelerate their career with a fast growing, innovative technology company. This role will allow you to gain exposure to all aspects of the sales cycle, and play a critical role in transforming the way businesses leverage data and analytics in the physical world

Responsibilities;

  • Drive revenue growth by building a pipeline of leads using outreach emails and phone calls, with a focus on generating introductory client meetings.
  • Develops new prospects, whether they’re introduced by a business partner, a direct inquiry, or a cold-called client.
  • Develop a deep product and business knowledge to cultivate and qualify new leads and generate sales opportunities.
  • Effectively articulate Prodco’s value proposition and educate prospects on our solutions.
  • Ability to understand complex business environments and uncover business challenges.
  • Consistently report and manage activities within our CRM.
  • Maintains broad knowledge of company capabilities versus the strengths/weaknesses of competitive products.
  • Maintains close working relationship with product personnel to know product futures and timing as well as feedback concerns and requests from prospects.
  • Negotiates pricing and implementation and prepares proposals.
  • Is prepared to travel up to 50% to client locations.

  • Has strong communication skills and can communicate technology as an approachable and understandable tool.
  • Has strong project management skills and is not afraid to roll up his or her sleeves to ensure smooth execution of a project.
  • Works well with cross-functional teams and is team oriented to ensure maximum results for clients and Prodco.
  • Is a self-starter and can work autonomously while keeping relevant stakeholders up to date on progress.

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Sales Development role with high performing SaaS company.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of exceptional performance.
  • Strong knowledge of the North America retail landscape with an emphasis on chain retailers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work effectively across multiple team and functions.
  • Strong presentation skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Preferably bilingual(English/French, both written and verbal)
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to work in a face-paced environment.
  • BA/BS degree with strong academic background.

Sales Account Manager

Sales/Account Management | Montreal, Canada

Description

Prodco Analytics, a technology company in the in-store analytics space, seeks a full-time Sales Account Director to support its growing Sales organization. The key responsibilities of the person who fills this position will be to prospect, pilot, and close business with new and existing accounts. Headquarters are in Montreal, Canada

Responsibilities;

  • Achieves an annual quota across all named accounts once fully ramped.
  • Develops new prospects, whether they’re introduced by a business partner, a direct inquiry, or a cold-called client.
  • Develops corporate contacts and cultivates relationships at all levels that enhance the company’s position, leading to incremental business within the designated accounts.
  • Maintains regular contact with account base and increases revenue by positioning and demonstrating new and existing services, preparing appropriate ROIs, and closing the expansion sale.
  • Prepares quarterly and yearly account plans for each account.
  • Generates, develops, manages, and communicates expectations within assigned accounts as well as increasing the scope of penetration within each account.
  • Qualifies new opportunities and prospects, evaluates the size of opportunities, and articulates probability of closure within existing accounts.
  • Maintains complete and accurate documentation of all activity.
  • Maintains broad knowledge of company capabilities versus the strengths/weaknesses of competitive products.

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate degree in business or other relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise software sales. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to big-box retailers and/or will have experience selling retail-oriented, software/hardware applications.
  • Strong knowledge of the North America retail landscape with an emphasis on chain retailers.
  • Strong presentation skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Fluently bilingual (English/French, both written and verbal)
  • Experience working in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment highly desirable.

Retail Data Insight Analyst

Analytics | Montreal, Canada

Prodco is looking for Data Analyst to draw insights from our extensive set of retail data to benefit our customers and the broader retail industry.  As part of a growing organization, this is a unique opportunity to collaborate on the analytical direction of Prodco.

This position requires an extremely high level of concentration combined with detail oriented work ethics and the ability to analyze data and provide guidance for performance improvements to our retail customers.

Responsibilities;

  • Model and analyze Prodco’s set of data and prepare actionable recommendations for our retail customers
  • Mine data to produce periodic trend reports for both specific retailer as well as broader industry consumption
  • Work closely with the managed services team to design and implement advanced data solutions for customers
  • Monitor and analyze data to increase the performance of the business
  • Analyze all data sets and apply corrective measures

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following characteristics;

  • 2-4 years of related work experience preferred
  • Passionate about the retail industry and applying analytics to enhancing the retail experience
  • Ability to glean actionable insights from large data sets and find the story within the data
  • Strong understanding of and sensitivity towards data integrity and cleanliness
  • Excellent attention to detail, in terms of both numerical data as well as presentation precision and elegance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working collaboratively
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • SQL knowledge and experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with statistical data analysis such as linear models, multivariate analysis, and predictive modeling preferred
  • Fluently bilingual French / English (both written and spoken)
